What does “private beta” mean?

Tallgrass is opening to small invited groups while we test the experience. Join the waitlist to be considered for access. Joining saves your email; it does not create an account or grant an invitation. Already invited? Sign in with your invited email.

Can the AI identify something incorrectly?

Yes. AI identifications can be wrong, especially with look-alike species or unclear photos. Treat the result as a useful lead, ask follow-up questions, and challenge an identification when the clues do not fit.

Who can see my photos and location?

Discoveries and photos are visible to signed-in beta members. Your calendar and AI chats are private to you. New discoveries share exact map locations within the beta. Earlier private locations remain private, and earlier shared locations remain approximate.

Can I keep RAW photos?

Yes. Tallgrass accepts original RAW files as part of a discovery. A photo can be up to 100 MB, a video up to 1 GB, and one discovery can include up to ten photos or videos.
